Beyond form. Into feeling.
Dea Nikollaj is a German-Albanian contemporary artist whose practice revolves around emotion, vibration, and the interplay between form and texture. Rooted in a dual cultural background and shaped by her experience with editorial aesthetics, her works bridge intimacy and abstraction, creating visual compositions that feel both immediate and timeless.
Her series are characterized by layered surfaces, a sculptural approach to paint, and a strong sensitivity to the dialogue with space. Each work is conceived not only as an artwork on canvas but also as part of a broader interaction with its environment, inviting the viewer not just to look at the work, but to truly experience it.
Nikollaj's works are collected internationally and are part of private collections in, among others, New York, Los Angeles, Paris, Barcelona, Abu Dhabi, and Kuwait. From Germany, she continues to develop her artistic practice, pushing the boundaries of contemporary abstract art.
