Kozo is an internationally renowned artist who redefines the boundaries between tattoo art and fine art. With a global audience of over one million followers, he is considered a pioneer in colored micro-realistic tattoos, seamlessly combining the precision of classical art with the visual language of contemporary pop culture.

From a young age, Kozo began his artistic journey, driven by a constant urge to explore new forms and materials. This quest resulted in a distinct visual signature, characterized by exceptional technical finesse and a keen sense of detail and scale.

What truly sets Kozo apart is his innovative approach to medium. He transcends the traditional boundaries of tattooing by translating his distinctive style to canvas and marble. In doing so, he literally integrates the tattooing process into the artwork itself: using a classic coil tattoo machine, he applies permanent markings, creating a unique tension between technique, process, and final result in each work.

From his private studio in Brooklyn, Kozo builds a continually evolving oeuvre that is exhibited worldwide in galleries. His work is at the intersection of craft, innovation, and cultural relevance, positioning him as one of the most progressive artists of his generation.
